COMPANY CONTROLLER AND STATUTORY FORMS

Are you going to provide support for the new 363a, 288a/b,etc ?
Yes. Companies House recently announced the amendment to a few statutory forms including the new style 363a, which now removes the requirement to disclose other directorships, and 288a,b,c. We will be providing integrated forms into our software in the very near future as part of the annual licence and the upgrade will be available from our download page. The existing forms are still acceptable by Companies House until September 2000.

Is there a provision for electronic filing ?
Companies House announced on 4 December 1998 that it had introduced an Electronic Filing Service which is expected to have a significant impact on its information products and services in respect of timeliness and quality.

Only forms 287, 288ab, 288c and form 363a can be presented electronically at the moment.

We are committed to the continual improvement of this software and therefore will be providing this facility as soon as we possibly can in future upgrades. Of course, upgrades are free to registered users who have a valid current Annual Licence.

Why can't all Statutory Forms be filled in ?
It was decided that rather than waste development time in the integration of rarely used Statutory Forms, it was a much better idea to get the most common Statutory Forms done first and provide the facility to print out these rarely used Statutory Forms in a BLANK format for manual completion rather than delay the release of Version 2.0 of this software.
If anybody has an immediate great need for the integration of any of these forms then please EMail us at suggest@seproft.co.uk. We will integrate more forms if the demand is there so please let us know.

The 31 forms that have been integrated are as follows:

Forms 6, 12, 10, 10 Cont, G88(2), G88(3), 123, 190, G190a, 225, G244, 266(1), 266(3), 287, 288a, 288b, 288c, 318, 325, G325a, 353, G353a, G362, G362a, 363a, 363a Cont, 363a Schedule, 391, 652a, 652c, DCA

The other 37 forms can be printed out in a BLANK format for manual completion.

How can I upgrade the software ?
Upgrading the software is a very easy process, and all you pay is the difference between the licence you have now and the licence you wish to upgrade to. Click here

Is there Technical Support with the software ?
You can obtain free technical support for Company Controller and Statutory Forms V2 in accordance with your Annual Licence Agreement. At the time of writing the technical support hours were 10.00 to 12.30 and 14.30 to 16.00 weekdays excluding English Bank Holidays.

Is Company Controller and Statutory Forms V2.1 year 2000 compliant ?
We know that many of our customers have the responsibility of making sure that their Suppliers are Year 2000 (Y2K) compliant. After careful analysis of our various programming tools we have determined that Company Controller and Statutory Forms V2 is Y2K compliant. In fact, we consider this issue so important that we have introduced as a feature in the software the forcing of the display of 4 digit years.

COMPANIES HOUSE
It is our understanding that all the Statutory Forms that contain dates have been amended by Companies House for millennium compliance. All these amendments have been incorporated into the Statutory Forms that are available as part of this software. In addition, all the forms contained in this software have been approved by Companies House under approval number CHFP034 (printed at top left on first page of each Statutory Form) and therefore are millennium compliant.
